Job Summary

Coordinate, execute, and optimize procurement of materials to support uninterrupted production. Partner with the Materials Manager on sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction efforts while serving as the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers. Maintain material master data and analyze usage trends to forecast requirements, track supplier performance, resolve delivery/quality/invoice discrepancies, and streamline procurement workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute purchase orders for assigned material categories to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with production schedules.
•Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans to prevent shortages or excess stock.
•Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication and track performance, delivery accuracy, and lead-time adherence.
•Maintain accurate material master data (pricing, lead times, supplier information) and prepare reports on availability, cost trends, and supply risks.
•Investigate and resolve delivery, quality, or invoice discrepancies and coordinate with Quality, Production, and Logistics to address disruptions.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 55,000 - 82,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university and 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Good planning, organizational, and execution skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong negotiation skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
