Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee accounting across hospitality operating companies, real estate entities, and corporate entities, setting responsibilities, workflows, deadlines, and accountability.
  • •Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, allocations, and consolidated reporting.
  • •Establish and enforce accounting policies and internal controls consistent with GAAP; identify accounting/reporting risks and implement controls to address them.
  • •Oversee multi-entity accounting (intercompany transactions, management fees, shared expenses, distributions, loans) and support integrations for acquisitions and new entities.
  • •Recruit, train, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including direct leadership of the Junior Controller and ensuring continuity through documentation and cross-training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading an accounting team and reviewing others’ work.
  • •Experience managing accounting and financial reporting across multiple legal entities and operating businesses.
  • •Strong GAAP, internal controls, and consolidated financial statement preparation/review experience.
