Job Summary

Assist the Airport Manager in supervising daily airport operations for safety, security, on-time performance, efficiency, and smooth workflow. Lead briefings/debriefings and oversee ramp, check-in, and handling activities in line with station procedures. Coordinate with Flight Operations and MCC for emergencies, AOG and disruptions, manage dangerous goods reporting, monitor SLAs and performance, handle lost baggage investigations, and deputize the Airport Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions and ensuring smooth daily activities per policies and station manuals.
•Supervise briefings/debriefings and oversee ramp and check-in activities, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and reporting deviations/delays.
•Coordinate with Airport Manager, Flight Operations, and MCC for AOG, emergencies, technical delays, disruptions, and service recovery.
•Ensure incidents/accidents and dangerous goods incidents are reported to the proper local authorities and headquarters using agreed formats.
•Monitor GHAs/GSAs and service level agreements (performance, payments, meetings, communication), analyze delay/performance data, and support baggage tracing and customer complaint resolution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Management/Administration (or equivalent) or a diploma in a related field with relevant work experience.
•Basic airport safety and security procedures and regulations training.
•IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, Passenger Handling, and Ground Operations Procedures trainings or certificates.
•Proficiency in Passenger Handling System and Departure Control System (DCS).
•3-5 years of relevant experience in airlines/aviation/ground handling, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role leading a station team.
