Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical direction for key services/components, including architecture, data flows, API design, scalability, resiliency, and performance.
  • •Drive engineering best practices across coding standards, testing strategy, documentation, design reviews, and maintainability.
  • •Lead delivery of roadmap commitments with strong quality controls and risk management, including dependency management, technical debt, and resourcing.
  • •Improve CI/CD, automated testing, quality gates, and engineering metrics (e.g., DORA, defect rate, SLOs).
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solutions are compliant and operable, and improve production excellence via observability, capacity planning, incident response, and post-incident RCA.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •5–8+ years in technology roles (software engineering, platform engineering, integration, or technical lead) with hands-on delivery experience.
  • •Demonstrable experience working in regulated financial services (or similarly regulated environments) with strong attention to risk and controls.
  • •Experience supporting production systems, including on-call/incident support and problem management with RCA.
  • •Working knowledge of wealth financial planning concepts and the ability to translate adviser/client needs into technical requirements and solution options.
