Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist safety leadership, technical expertise, and strategic guidance to support risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement across the mine operation.
  • •Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety performance and embed effective risk management practices, driving governance of Critical Control Performance Standards.
  • •Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of safety improvement initiatives, including governance of the Worsley Fatality Risk Framework.
  • •Analyse safety performance data, assurance outcomes, and trends while supporting Continuous Assurance Framework maturity through data-driven verification and monitoring.
  • •Coach and provide technical advice to operational teams on safety standards, investigations, critical controls, risk assessments, and assurance activities.

  • •Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety (or similar) with related industry experience.
