Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply data science and machine-learning techniques to deliver predictive modelling and business analytics solutions for general insurance use cases.
  • •Use data mining and statistical methods to interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and inform judgments.
  • •Plan and prioritize effectively to manage tasks and competing demands while handling ambiguous problems.
  • •Develop data science prototypes using relevant techniques and innovative development practices.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (postgraduate preferred).
  • •Demonstrated experience in a Data Scientist role applying data science methods to solve business problems in a commercial setting.
  • •Experience using data mining, statistical methods, and machine-learning techniques, including predictive modelling (e.g., quote conversion, customer retention).
  • •Strong Python programming skills and good understanding of ML ops.
  • •5+ years of work experience with Data Science, with experience across Agentic AI Development and Generative AI.
