Key Responsibilities

•Develop rigging plans and lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain rigging systems, supports, fixtures and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment for industrial production and general maintenance.
•Use power tools and various rigging equipment; work in confined spaces and at heights, in noisy conditions, indoors or outdoors.
•Follow site-specific safety rules and life-saving rules; communicate effectively with team and foreman; ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
•Plan work and select proper rigging equipment and machinery; apply mathematics and geometry to solve problems.
•Perform other duties as required while traveling offshore as needed.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Journeyperson in rigging with demonstrated competence in the trade
•Fall arrest certificate required when working at heights
•Offshore certificates/training assets such as Basic Survival Training (BST) including HUET/HUEBA, Rigging, Slinging, and Banksman; WHMIS 2015; Offshore Safety Regulatory Awareness; Fall Protection; Confined Space Entry; Emergency First Aid
•Must be willing and able to travel offshore via helicopter or supply vessel
•Must pass a site-specific drug and alcohol test and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
