Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the design and analysis of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead catenary systems (OCS), and third rail systems.
  • •Support electrical schematic, wiring diagram, and equipment layout development.
  • •Perform calculations for voltage drop, current flow, and traction power system performance.
  • •Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • •Conduct field inspections/site visits and help with testing and commissioning of traction power equipment, plus as-built drawing/documentation preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and completed at least one year of study.
  • •Eligible to apply as a current undergraduate/graduate student or a recent graduate continuing toward a Master’s degree in a similar discipline.
  • •Basic understanding of electrical power systems and circuit analysis.
  • •Familiarity with AC and DC power concepts.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
