Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain a robust First Line of Defence Business Risk Control capability aligned to the global model (risk/control assessment, monitoring, standards implementation, QA).
  • •Provide clear guidance to IWPB teams to meet Second Line of Defence directives (Compliance, Operational Risk, Information Security Risk, Business Continuity/Resilience).
  • •Protect the Bank and IWPB from operational loss through strong risk identification, mitigation, and escalation.
  • •Act as a key point of contact for IWPB Senior Management on compliance and operational risk matters, representing IWPB with Second Line stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate and produce high-quality materials for Risk Management Meetings, Management Forums, and governance sessions as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in operational risk and controls, ideally across front line and risk roles.
  • •Solid understanding of the Group Operational Risk Framework and how to apply it in a First Line environment.
  • •Proven problem-solving capability, including lateral thinking and pragmatic solution design.
  • •Highly developed communication and influencing skills across senior stakeholders and diverse teams.
  • •Ability to prioritise, work independently under pressure, and deliver within a collaborative team environment.
