Job Summary

Provide professional customer service in the Bank’s Customer Service Center by answering calls, resolving questions and complaints, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Assist customers with checking, savings, time deposits, IRAs, loans, safe deposit boxes, internet banking, debit cards, and credit cards. Open/close and maintain deposit accounts and related services, meet call quality goals, and follow bank policies while safeguarding customer information.

Key Responsibilities

•Take customer calls and provide excellent customer service by answering questions and solving problems through active listening and data collection.
•Assist customers with checking, savings, time deposits, IRAs, loans, safe deposit boxes, internet banking, debit cards, and credit cards.
•Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts, and support services such as credit cards, savings bonds, and consumer loans.
•Handle complaints professionally and strive to meet the Customer Service Center’s call quality goals.
•Maintain the bank’s professional reputation while following bank policies, keeping customer information private, and keeping work areas clean and secure.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree or two years of related experience and/or training (or the equivalent combination of education and experience).
•1 year of customer service experience.
•Preferred knowledge of bank products, services, and policies/procedures.
•Excellent communication and public relations skills.
•Excellent computer skills and strong organization, with the ability to work well under pressure and as needed or required.
