Assistant General Counsel (Regional Counsel)

Provide insurance-focused legal counsel to USAA business unit leadership, identifying and analyzing legal issues while helping mitigate regulatory, compliance, and litigation risk. Lead complex matters with significant business impact, proactively monitor legal and regulatory changes, and deliver clear written and verbal legal positions. Collaborate across business units and the Chief Legal Office, work with outside counsel when needed, and escalate higher-risk issues to more senior attorneys.
