Job Summary

Lead and manage multi-discipline MEP construction projects at SpaceX's McGregor facility, overseeing design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for aerospace and industrial infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the entire mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
•Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
•Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
•Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
•Coordinate with the electrical utility provider on design and engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 3+ years of experience working in the field on construction projects, or 7+ years of equivalent professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management in lieu of a degree
•Significant experience with electrical and power distribution systems (<600V AC), including 480V down to 120V and DC systems
•Knowledge of HVAC operation and design principles, including refrigeration, chillers, boilers, and air-handling equipment
•Experience with plumbing design and operation, including domestic water, wastewater, venting, and storm systems
•Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
