Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop sustainability strategies for a diverse portfolio and manage your own projects.
  • •Lead and coordinate sustainability certification work and assessments for projects.
  • •Prepare sustainability, whole life carbon, and circular economy statements to support planning submissions.
  • •Produce clear, high-quality reports communicating sustainability issues and conclusions.
  • •Understand and apply UK sustainability-related legislation to project solutions and support behavioral change and innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Understanding and experience in Net Zero, low carbon design, and materials.
  • •Experience as a sustainability consultant leading sustainability assessments and driving design teams to improve sustainability outcomes.
  • •Strong knowledge of the construction process and implications for sustainable design.
  • •Proven experience delivering sustainability certifications and multiple assessments (e.g., BREEAM and other environmental assessment methodologies).
  • •Degree in engineering/environmental/architectural or sustainability related subject and membership of a related professional institution (working toward or already Chartered).
