Key Responsibilities

•Perform engineering tasks across planning, design, and modification phases, including assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail.
•Carry out structural analysis and design for bridges and structures such as viaduct structures, flyovers, underpasses, culverts, and retaining walls.
•Develop bridge-related structural design schemes and support work across road and rail projects in multiple geographies.
•Correlate and interpret data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams and propose alternative solutions to encountered problems.
•Apply experience across the full life cycle of design projects within highway/railway environments.

Key Requirements

•Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
•3+ years of structural engineering design experience, including detailed design work for rail and road bridges and related assessment and schemes.
•Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes, including work on road and/or rail projects across UK, Middle East, and Australia.
•Exposure to international standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB, and Australian Standards.
•Understanding of software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, and LUSAS; finite element analysis experience preferred.
