Job Summary

Lead People Operations for the US and own the full employee experience in the San Francisco office as the team scales from 15 to 50 (and toward 200 globally). You’ll run HR operations and HRBP across business units, steward onboarding, policies, benefits, and compliance, and set office and workplace strategy. Partner closely with the Head of People to shape talent and people strategy while building an in-person culture through scalable systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and run a best-in-class onboarding experience for new hires from Day 1.
•Own HR operations end-to-end in the US, including offer letters, policies, employee records, benefits administration, and compliance across federal and California regulations.
•Lead office space strategy as the SF workspace scales, including evaluating, negotiating, and managing vendors and facilities relationships.
•Create and maintain workplace programs, team events, and in-person cultural touchpoints aligned to company values.
•Partner with the Head of People on talent and people strategy while serving as the day-to-day resource for employee benefits and HR topics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 212,000 - 267,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in People Operations, HRBP, and office management, ideally in a high-growth tech startup environment.
•Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance, including knowing when to consult legal support.
•Experience owning or co-owning office space strategy, including vendor management, space planning, and facilities decisions.
•Exceptional organizational skills with the flexibility to pivot in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
•Strong communication and a builder mentality to identify gaps, fix inefficiencies, and act without waiting to be asked.
