Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain core systems in TikTok Shop’s trading domain, including system design, development, maintenance, and continuous optimization.
  • •Continuously plan and enhance foundational capabilities of the trading center system to improve openness and scalability.
  • •Improve international system architecture and build stability and high availability.
  • •Explore new business models for TikTok Shop.
  • •Benchmark against industry to drive ongoing platform improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related fields.
  • •Experience developing highly scalable backend services using Java or Golang.
  • •Familiarity with Linux, MySQL, Redis, RocketMQ, and configuration centers.
  • •Ability to optimize performance, conduct system stress testing, and implement rate limiting/degradation and database sharding in high-traffic scenarios.
  • •Strong learning and problem-solving skills, with awareness of new technologies and willingness to research new tech.
