Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise on employment law issues across hiring, employment contracts, terminations, benefits, workplace policies, and employee relations.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional, and international employment laws and regulations.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and related legal documents.
  • •Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
  • •Develop and update internal employment policies, track legislative changes, and deliver practical guidance to HR and management teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) or an equivalent law degree from a reputable institution.
  • •At least 5 years of experience specializing in employment law.
  • •Strong understanding of employment law in Kazakhstan and the MENA region (preferred, not mandatory).
  • •European Union experience and international employment work are a plus.
  • •Fluent in Russian and excellent English speaking skills.
