Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advice and counsel on all aspects of employment law for TikTok’s operations, focused on LATAM workforce.
  • •Advise HR and business leaders on day-to-day employee lifecycle matters, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, leaves of absence, accommodations, compensation & benefits, restructuring, and terminations.
  • •Draft, review, and revise employment-related legal documentation and policies tailored to local LATAM labor requirements.
  • •Guide workplace investigations in the LATAM region with compliant processes and outcomes.
  • •Strategically manage and advise on employment litigation matters and pre-litigation employment disputes as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree (LL.B./Juris Doctorate equivalent) with active, good-standing bar admission to practice in Brazil.
  • •5+ years of experience in private practice or a corporate legal department focused on employment law counseling and/or employment litigation.
  • •Expertise in LATAM labor and employment regulations with hands-on experience supporting Brazil employment matters; experience in Mexico, Argentina, or Colombia is preferred.
  • •Ability to research complex legal questions and deliver clear, actionable guidance for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • •Fluency in English and either Portuguese or Spanish for stakeholder engagement.
