Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts from proposal review through award, administration, modification/renewal, and closeout.
  • •Review, draft, negotiate, and administer agreements including prime contracts, subcontracts, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • •Review and analyze requests for proposals for contractual, administrative, and compliance requirements; evaluate and advise on project risks tied to contract terms, IP, scope, and costing.
  • •Stay current on legal frameworks (including FAR and DFARS), ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies, and coordinate with legal/compliance for regulatory alignment.
  • •Maintain an audit file for each contract, provide contract briefs and summaries to program managers/executives, and conduct awareness and training on contracting matters.

Key Requirements

  • •8-10+ years of government and commercial contracting experience, including moving advanced technology projects from R&D through prototype and into government applications.
  • •Experience supporting cost proposal preparation, negotiating contract terms, preparing contract modifications, administering contracts/subcontracts, and analyzing cost and prices.
  • •Ability to resolve and complete complex contract administration assignments/problems with minimal supervision.
  • •Knowledge of data rights concepts and requirements, including technical data, IP protections, data rights assertions, and marking requirements.
  • •Knowledge of FSS, SBIR, and Prime Vendor Contracts; ability to obtain a security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
