Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Lands & ROW support for pipeline operations and maintenance, including damage claims, encroachment monitoring, reclamation, drainage improvements, depth-of-cover mitigation, and cathodic protection programs.
  • •Lead and coordinate as primary Land lead for regional initiatives and Core Projects, ensuring alignment of land scope, schedules, and customer requirements.
  • •Lead and support contractors and Land Advisors by providing direction, oversight, and quality assurance for consistent deliverables and negotiation outcomes.
  • •Develop and standardize Land Operations procedures, policies, templates, and agreements to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • •Prepare, review, and manage land agreements and legal instruments, using GIS tools and land systems to support tracking and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of related right-of-way experience in progressive roles, with a Bachelor’s degree/technical diploma or equivalent post-secondary education (or additional related experience if degrees/diplomas aren’t held).
  • •Strong understanding of federal, state, and Indigenous/Sovereign Nation regulations related to ROW activities and landowner responsibilities.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing ROW for core projects and programs, including knowledge of pipeline systems, facility interactions, and land acquisition/easement requirements.
  • •Ability to interpret legal plans, titles, deeds, engineering drawings, and land documentation while collaborating with diverse groups.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office, GIS, and land systems, with excellent communication skills; knowledge of pipeline operations and negotiations preferred; valid driver’s license and IRWA (or equivalent) designation preferred.
