Key Responsibilities

  • •Take end-to-end ownership of the backend platform, managing client-facing API schemas, servers, and database infrastructure in AWS.
  • •Integrate AI-powered solutions into core products by building and refining agent workflows, context, and tooling.
  • •Contribute to architectural and design decisions, breaking down complex features into releasable components.
  • •Design and implement core products in a PHP and Laravel API using domain-driven, service, and repository architectures from OpenAPI specs.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building, operating, and scaling backend systems in production environments.
  • •Deep proficiency in PHP (ideally Laravel) with working proficiency in Python.

  • •Experience with event-driven and queue-based architectures, particularly using AWS SQS.
  • •Experience running containerized services in production, ideally with Amazon ECS.
