Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform day-to-day animal caretaker duties for pullet and layer farms.
  • •Learn different production systems and demonstrate basic animal welfare.
  • •Learn feeding, lighting, and vaccination programs.
  • •Learn maintenance programs and understand inventory management (grain and egg inventories).
  • •Support management as needed across layer and pullet houses and processing activities including egg grading, packing, warehousing, and shipping.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an Ag Related degree and aptitude for poultry production, processing, and feed mills.
  • •Knowledge of livestock principles and applications.
  • •Ability to work a full-time schedule for an 8–12 week period.
  • •Ability and willingness to temporarily relocate.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
