Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out all cementing and allied jobs during drilling of oil and gas wells, following recommended specifications, procedures, and policies.
  • •Perform casing, liner, and stage cementation and conduct BOP stack testing up to 15,000 psi (or as required).
  • •Execute acid jobs, squeeze jobs, plug jobs, retainer jobs, leak-off tests, and miscellaneous pressure testing up to 15,000 psi.
  • •Operate and maintain cementing unit equipment, including cement additives usage, slurry design knowledge, and batch mixer and cement head operations.
  • •Support agile, health-capable delivery of vigorous operational and maintenance work for the cementing unit.

Key Requirements

  • •Passed at least SSC (or equivalent) and a trade certificate from a reputed vocational institute.
  • •Undergone basic training in cementing from a reputed cementing school (e.g., Halliburton, Dowell Schlumberger, BJ, IDT/ONGC) or equivalent.
  • •5+ years of performing cementing services independently, including at least 2 years in offshore areas.
  • •Proven knowledge of cement additives, slurry design factors, and operation & maintenance of cementing units.
  • •Basic understanding of English and ability to perform vigorous operational and maintenance work with sound health.
