Key Responsibilities

  • •Own data and information products, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Data and Analytics guidelines and architecture patterns.
  • •Maintain business metadata documentation for the assigned domain (information matrix, entity definitions/relationships, KPIs, data dictionaries, and user guides).
  • •Define story content and acceptance criteria, coordinate end story sign-off, and ensure backlogs are prepared, refined, and prioritized for future PI’s.
  • •Capture and prioritize technical debt and non-functional requirements across sprints, incorporating BAU, ceremony, and spike activities within capacity.
  • •Define metrics for success/performance, contribute to PI planning and demos, and identify risks/dependencies back to the product portfolio backlog.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • •5+ years of experience in information technology.
  • •Experience working as a Product Owner/Manager in a team-facing capacity, with a proven record of driving delivery and change.
  • •2+ years practical experience in a Product Owner/Manager role, delivering at pace, plus understanding of scaled agile frameworks (preferred).
  • •Strong technical/domain expertise and knowledge of transaction systems for data products; well-versed in product management tools for software delivery.
