Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Commercial Risk Deputy Head in building and executing transaction advisory services in Japan, including M&A insurance solutions and related advisory offerings.
  • •Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, law firms, accounting firms, private equity houses, and industry bodies to generate business opportunities for Transaction Solutions and Transaction Advisory Services.
  • •Drive the promotion of transaction advisory services in Japan, including proposals for M&A insurance solutions and a broad set of advisory services offered during and after deals.
  • •Support cross-sell opportunities for other Aon products and solutions (cyber, credit, human capital, portfolio value creation) to fund clients.
  • •Coordinate project management engagements, client communications, and alignment of internal expertise, resources, and solutions across Aon.

Key Requirements

  • •M&A transaction experience from large law firms, advisory firms or multinational corporations, with knowledge and understanding of how M&A deals are executed.
  • •Strong legal writing skills to analyze deal documents and financial statements and provide risk-related advice.
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate under pressure and resolve disputes constructively.
  • •Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken) with ability to present confidently to clients and business stakeholders.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or law; CPA (JP or equivalent) or tax advisor qualification; property/casualty insurance broker qualification; willingness to obtain P/C broker exam after joining.
