Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to keep firewall services operational.
  • •Identify problems/errors and route first-line incidents to the correct resolver group.
  • •Investigate incidents to determine root causes and ensure efficient, comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests.
  • •Schedule maintenance windows for patching and configuration changes and follow handover procedures for shift changes.
  • •Update/create knowledge articles, report/escalate incidents when necessary, and support disaster recovery functions/tests and process improvement/automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security/network/data center/systems/storage administration and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
  • •Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain (e.g., Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony).
  • •Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
  • •CCNA or relevant level 1 network security certification is good to have.
