Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, prototype, and maintain mechanical test fixtures, jigs, and tooling for reliability and repeatable operator use.
  • •Design mechanical integration for sensors, actuators, cameras, and instruments into test stations in collaboration with automation software engineers.
  • •Specify and integrate custom testing solutions from external vendors for instrumentation and equipment.
  • •Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and infrastructure/deployment engineers to deliver maintainable, scalable automation solutions.
  • •Support mechanical and occasional software integration based on candidate skillset.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • •Excellent CAD skills with experience in rapid prototyping and robust implementation (SolidWorks, Catia, or similar).
  • •Experience working with external vendors and machine shops for part fabrication and test equipment selection.
  • •Comfortable with soldering, wiring, and small-scale electrical circuit work for test system integration.
  • •Experience with electronic assemblies (PCBAs), with familiarity with pogo-pin / bed-of-nails fixturing preferred.
