Key Responsibilities

•Develop CRA prospect and referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
•Maintain knowledge of mortgage company policies/procedures and available loan products, including underwriting and departmental guidelines.
•Conduct and coordinate homebuyer-training seminars for CRA potential applicants.
•Take applications by completing Fannie Mae Form 1003 and use the laptop to access daily rates, applicant credit reports, Loan Prospector responses, and transmit loans to LOMAS.
•Manage the mortgage loan pipeline through closing, deliver required loan packages/documentation within management timeframes, and complete required management reports while providing timely updates to applicants/referral sources.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; four-year college degree is preferred.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Proven computer skills and strong written/verbal communication, organizational, teamwork, and customer service abilities.
