Key Responsibilities

  • •Support pre-sales by defining Cloud/Linode solutions and collaborating with sales on technical aspects across the sales lifecycle.
  • •Drive new Linode customer acquisition and account growth as a public cloud pre-sales technology specialist.
  • •Lead customer success and consumption of Linode as part of an integrated account team.
  • •Lead solution and product innovation initiatives, evangelize APJ use cases/technologies, and influence the product roadmap with product managers.
  • •Build cloud computing/Linode technical thought leadership to support Akamai’s APJ business growth.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing technical role with cloud or hosting provider companies.
  • •Experience architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers, with professional architect-level certifications from AWS/GCP.
  • •Hands-on skills across three or more domains such as Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, storage, AI & GPU, or IaC/CI/CD tooling.
  • •Experience with open source technologies including Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and Nginx.
  • •Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences.
