Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in data center site selection and contractual evaluations, and support design solutions through construction to final site acceptance.
  • •Review Data Center MEP design and collaborate with necessary disciplines for new builds and data hall fit-outs.
  • •Create data hall layout plans and perform test fits to validate server capacity plans and failover calculations.
  • •Participate in testing and commissioning discussions to determine required tests verifying design elements.
  • •Support design effectiveness through audits/assessments and help the DC Engineering FM team build subject-matter expertise.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • •Knowledge of power and cooling designs and capacity calculation for data centers.
  • •Understand power/cooling redundancy implementations (2N, N+1) and related standards (UTI, TIA-942, ASHRAE).
  • •Experience implementing cooling redundancy and concurrent maintainability (N+1 or N+2).
  • •Experience leading/influencing detailed design, tiering standards (TIA-942/Uptime Tier 3), fit-outs, and L1–L5 commissioning tests.
