Key Responsibilities

  • •Rotate between Sales and Trading desks to learn how both sides support clients.
  • •Analyze market trends, spot patterns, collect and present data, and contribute to reports.
  • •Support client pitches and contribute to real projects strengthening client relationships and trading strategies.
  • •Work with Trading and Sales teams to support client portfolios across key asset classes.
  • •Build tools and finance models using Excel, VBA, or Python and maintain trading and sales performance records.

Key Requirements

  • •Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing March 2027.
  • •Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
  • •Be fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.
  • •Be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong for the full duration without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship.
  • •No visa sponsorship required; candidates who require visa sponsorship cannot be considered.
