Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks for voice, data, and video services.
  • •Manage MTC integration with external organizations’ networks, including NIPR and SIPR, and other required tactical networks.
  • •Coordinate network design and requirements across MTCs, training sites, training units, and external communications organizations.
  • •Configure, document, test, troubleshoot, and update internal simulation network documentation, including Cisco firewalls/routers/switches.
  • •Apply RMF Cybersecurity activities (updates, quarterly patches/IAVAs, SRG/STIGs, access control lists) and perform monitoring, backups, and recovery testing.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management; MTC experience preferred.
  • •Advanced knowledge of network planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including LAN/WAN/DNS/DHCP, firewalls, security, and storage/backup methodologies.
  • •Ability to apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Certification & Accreditation processes.
  • •Experience applying network patches and STIGs and performing RMF cybersecurity tasks.
  • •Security clearance: Secret clearance is required; Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience; SEC+ required (CCNA preferred).
