Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as point of contact and interface for employees and managers on all payroll-relevant, social security, and wage tax questions.
  • •Prepare and produce monthly payroll for a defined business unit, including all necessary pre- and post-processing tasks.
  • •Maintain and administer employee data in the payroll system.
  • •Handle correspondence with health insurers, authorities, and internal departments, including registration and certification matters.
  • •Create reports and analyses, support internal/external audits, and apply correct social security and tax treatment of compensation components while improving HR processes through digitization.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed commercial training, with an optional further qualification as a payroll specialist (IHK) or an equivalent credential.
  • •Several years of professional experience in payroll processing (Entgeltabrechnung).
  • •Sound knowledge of wage tax and social security law applicable to compensation components.
  • •Reliable handling of payroll systems and MS Office, with SAP HCM knowledge preferred.
  • •Independent, careful work with strong service orientation and discretion.
