Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare timely and accurate monthly journal entries related to transportation, storage, and other revenue activities.
  • •Analyze transportation and storage contracts to ensure revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • •Prepare assigned quarterly and annual FERC reporting accurately and on schedule.
  • •Review and analyze billed volumes (throughput), revenue activity, and related accounting records, including balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine.
  • •Support audits and assist with monthly close by analyzing results, explaining variances, and participating in close meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • •CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • •2–4 years of accounting experience; natural gas pipeline or energy industry experience strongly preferred.
  • •Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; revenue recognition under ASC 606 preferred.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills plus proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
