Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and refine sequences of operation for optimization algorithms for facility mechanical systems.
  • •Integrate advances in artificial intelligence into sequences of operation and standardize them.
  • •Review mechanical and control drawings/submittals and conduct remote system reviews to evaluate readiness and opportunities for optimization.
  • •Validate algorithm performance by analyzing BAS trend data, running simulations, and supporting real-world field trials.
  • •Translate mechanical principles into algorithms/control logic, troubleshoot issues, and support training and documentation for operations teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 66,300 - 138,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • •Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (preferred, not required).
  • •Deep understanding of engineering principles including thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer, refrigeration cycles, and building automation systems.
  • •Proven experience in HVAC applied system design and/or commissioning.
  • •Strong technical understanding of mechanical system design and controls.
