Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry the personal welder qualification card on site at all times
  • •Attend TBSM and TBQM on time
  • •Ensure a valid WPS is available for joint welding and adhere to it
  • •Inspect welding equipment and perform visual inspection of welds and adjacent substrate for non-conformances or damage
  • •Prepare/maintain documentation (matrix box for welder ID/Stamp, WPS, preheat, completion date) and rectify issues as advised by the foreman
