Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end research projects from inception to deployment, including defining scope, experiments, and evaluation.
  • •Collaborate with the founding team on technical decisions for building and deploying state-of-the-art ML models.
  • •Design, train, and evaluate models across the data engineering stack with focus on scalability and performance.
  • •Lead efforts in training large generative models from scratch (LLMs or diffusion models) in a distributed setting.
  • •Contribute to the Suno music platform with a strong emphasis on research impact and practical applications.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years experience training state of the art models with distributed PyTorch.
  • •Intimate familiarity with the entire stack of data engineering, designing, training and evaluating machine learning models.
  • •Track record showing independent ownership of entire research projects from start to finish.
  • •Extensive experience training large generative models from scratch (LLMs or diffusion models).
  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
