Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of material handling and automation systems.
  • •Troubleshoot production, equipment, and process issues; identify and implement yield and product performance improvements.
  • •Develop methods to assign causes to yield excursions and respond to SPC process control alarms to bring processes back into control.
  • •Execute planned process experiments and collect/analyze/report experimental results and daily tool/product performance data.
  • •Maintain equipment documentation (drawings, SOPs, process specifications), set up/maintain gauges, and provide training to production associates.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Associates degree in a technical discipline qualifies you, if you meet the criteria.
  • •Two or more years’ machine, electrician, or mechanic experience as a primary job function.
  • •One year of First Solar technical experience qualifies you.
  • •Safety-first mindset and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line.
