Middle School Special Education Teacher

Teach and support at-risk middle school students in a virtual special education program by adapting the K12 curriculum to state standards, providing individualized and small-group instruction, and coordinating Tier 2 interventions. Build strong relationships with families, students, and learning coaches, educate parents on instructional strategies, and use RTI data and progress monitoring to drive instructional decisions. Collaborate with general and special education teams and provide staff training on RTI and data procedures.
