Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and foster relationships while sourcing commercial lending opportunities
  • •Analyze lending opportunities and perform due diligence and underwriting for commercial real estate credit requests
  • •Prepare written credit presentations and investment analysis/credit packages for department manager and credit administrators
  • •Gather additional information needed for initial decisions and ongoing credit monitoring
  • •Manage, support, coach, and train staff; participate in interviewing/hiring and performance evaluation activities

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6-8 years of commercial lending experience, including valuation, asset management, and financial analysis
  • •B.A. in finance or related field and/or related work experience
  • •Knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with applicable state and federal lending regulations (including TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA)
  • •General knowledge of loan documentation, collateral analysis, and financial statements
  • •Proficient with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Argus) and familiar with Moody’s analysis systems; familiarity with nCino is a plus
