Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing site, survey, blueprint, GIS, hydrologic, geotechnical, and utility data to support project development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform civil engineering research and inspections of site conditions and infrastructure to determine compliance with applicable rules, standards, and permits.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety and phasing plans, and update infrastructure layout plans in coordination with owners and other disciplines.
  • •Prepare reports, presentations, calculations, and visualizations, and maintain quality control standards for accurate measurements and statistical reporting.
  • •Provide technical guidance and training to entry-level engineers, prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), and help manage medium-sized projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (master’s preferred), with relevant post-education engineering experience including prior civil design experience.
  • •Minimum 7 years of relevant post-education experience and prior civil design experience.
  • •Professional licensure/certification.
  • •Ability to perform technical computations and apply engineering principles, interpreting plans/specifications and comparing to regulations.
  • •Project management experience and strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and guide junior team members with QA/QC adherence.
