Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Visa’s airline acceptance strategy across Asia Pacific, aligned with the global airline acceptance agenda.
  • •Build and deepen senior relationships with priority airlines and ecosystem partners across the region.
  • •Identify, size, and progress B2B airline acceptance opportunities across accepting and non-accepting airlines.
  • •Manage the regional opportunity pipeline (opportunity sizing, stakeholder mapping, risks, next steps) and provide executive reporting.
  • •Represent Visa externally across Asia Pacific and serve as a regional subject matter expert on airline B2B payments and acceptance policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in payments, financial services, or related industries.
  • •Develop and execute growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, and influence senior stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • •Strong understanding of the airline, travel, and B2B payments ecosystem in Asia Pacific (airline acceptance, virtual cards, OTAs/TMCs, issuer/acquiring models, and payment economics).
  • •Demonstrated success originating, negotiating, and managing complex commercial partnerships from concept through implementation and optimization.
  • •Ability to interpret data, assess market opportunities, develop business cases, evaluate pricing and commercial models, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
