Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and supervise daily sanitation/cleaning of production equipment and facility to meet food safety requirements and quality standards.
  • •Ensure team members and contractors follow company policies, sanitation quality standards, and safety rules, including proper PPE use.
  • •Perform supervisory responsibilities including training, appraising performance, rewards and disciplines, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • •Develop and maintain cleaning procedures (SSOPs, cleaning logs) and comply with the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • •Coordinate sanitation and related production items; partner with vendors and cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality Assurance, Maintenance) on sanitation issues and chemical/process changes.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry, with food industry sanitation experience preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • •Skilled in analytical, critical, inductive, and deductive logic and reasoning.
  • •Able to read and interpret documents such as MSDS safety rules and procedure manuals, and write reports.
  • •Able to use a personal computer efficiently, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
