Job Summary

Lead global category management for HR and professional services within Amcor’s Global Indirect Procurement organization. You’ll develop and execute category strategies, run sourcing projects, manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and drive cost and process improvements. Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, HR, and Legal while tracking KPIs, conducting market analysis, and managing risks to improve efficiency and performance for global spend.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain global category strategies for HR and professional services, including roadmap oversight and alignment with business objectives.
•Execute sourcing projects, manage contracts and supplier performance, and support requester needs across the category.
•Achieve cost reduction targets by securing timely procurement involvement, identifying cost-out opportunities, and considering sustainability and contractual risks.
•Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.
•Lead contract negotiation and manage contracting lifecycle, while conducting market analysis and tracking KPIs for performance monitoring.

Key Requirements

•8–10 years of experience in HR and Professional Services procurement or category management in a global or multinational organization.
•Demonstrated expertise in procurement category management, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
•In-depth understanding of corporate services, market dynamics, and the supplier landscape.
•Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
