Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Lead design, plan development tasks, and perform structural analysis and design with a focus on Michigan highway structures.
•Actively maintain project scope, design changes, and project budget and schedule while assigned to projects.
•Mentor, train, and develop staff and others performing similar work.
•Coordinate closely with project team and perform independent QC/QA reviews.
•Contribute to and lead technical proposals; represent WSP at relevant professional society meetings and conferences.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; strong academic foundation for structural analysis and design.
•P.E. registration in Michigan and ability to acquire in other states.
•5 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in Structural Engineering with an emphasis on bridges.
•Proficiency with discipline-specific design software (MicroStation, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) and related tools.
•Ability to lead design teams, mentor staff, and ensure QA/QC adherence in a collaborative environment.
