Job Summary

Join WSP's PMCM team as a Quantity Surveyor responsible for pre- and post-contract QS, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance, and post-contract financial management on Building and Infrastructure projects. Depending on seniority you may lead QS/Commercial work, train staff, bid for opportunities, and represent WSP at industry events, based in Birmingham with UK-wide exposure.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver QS/Cost and Commercial Management services for projects including estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance and post-contract financial management
•Lead QS/commercial projects or teams where applicable and provide project leadership
•Mentor and train staff, contribute to bid writing and win work where appropriate
•Represent WSP UK at industry events and engage with clients and project teams
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various sectors (building and infrastructure) to deliver programmes

Key Requirements

•MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to demonstrate QS/Cost and Commercial competencies as required by professional institutions
•Where applicable, demonstrable management, project leadership and delivery experience at senior level
