Key Responsibilities

  • •Support production-critical software, infrastructure, and workflows including pipeline and production management tools.
  • •Engineer robust solutions using studio coding standards and best practices, including building validation tests for software quality.
  • •Stay current on existing and new third-party technologies to inform technical decision-making and contribute novel software integrations.
  • •Triage artist and production issues, deconstruct requests, direct component tasks, and streamline pipelines through support and development of existing procedures.
  • •Communicate with artists and document software approaches; collaborate with TDs and leadership, mentor new Technical Directors, and represent the department in cross-disciplinary teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 89,752 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Software development experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, HScript, MEL, and/or TCL.
  • •Strong programming skills including Object Oriented Programming.
  • •Working knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals and production experience in computer animation, VFX, or game industry.
  • •Working knowledge of DCC tools such as Premo, Moonray, Maya, Houdini, Unreal, and Nuke.
  • •Ability to work independently or with a group, establish priorities with Supervising TDs, and identify blocking obstacles.
