Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with your manager and peers in the design phase of water and flood risk projects, including drawing creation/modification and calculations.
  • •Support project management tasks such as research, data gathering, and preparing reports.
  • •Take part in field visit opportunities such as site surveys and inspections, and shadowing experienced engineers for supervision.
  • •Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss requirements, progress, and challenges.
  • •Develop skills alongside experienced engineers within a learning and development supported culture.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •MEng in related Civil/Civil & Environmental Engineering MSc would be an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are desirable.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills are essential/beneficial.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with clients (verbally and in writing) and to structure/prioritise work effectively.
