Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead validation activities for AMD’s systems design engineering efforts, defining validation plans and driving cross-functional validation across hardware and software teams.
  • •Develop and maintain validation tooling and scripts to automate test execution and data collection, and improve methodologies.
  • •Coordinate with multiple teams to track test execution, ensure timely validation, and optimize the validation process.
  • •Debug issues found during validation, bring them up through the production phases of SOC programs, and track root causes to drive fixes.
  • •Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure validation results meet quality and schedule targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (Bachelors)
  • •Strong programming/scripting skills (C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python) with the ability to develop tools and scripts for validation
  • •Extensive experience with common lab equipment (e.g., protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes)
  • •High knowledge of system architecture, debugging, and validation strategies across hardware/software domains
  • •Self-starter with ability to drive tasks to completion and lead validation efforts across multiple teams
