Job Summary

Lead the analytics function at the intersection of Jobber's financial services products and risk management. Build and manage a seven-person analytics team, develop rigorous portfolio and risk analytics capabilities, and design data-driven strategies to improve revenue, margin, and risk-adjusted returns. Translate complex financial models into actionable business strategy, champion AI-powered risk decisioning, and partner with FinTech product, Finance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute the FinTech & Risk Analytics roadmap, partnering with FinTech leadership to co-own product impact and P&L growth.
•Lead development of portfolio analytics frameworks to assess profitability and guide capital allocation across lending and payments portfolios.
•Design and implement portfolio risk models using IFRS 9 methodologies and build scenario-based loss forecasting models.
•Build data-driven strategies connecting SaaS engagement signals with FinTech KPIs and collaborate with Data Science on ML-based approaches.
•Champion AI/machine learning adoption across FinTech and Risk Analytics and lead a team of seven analytics professionals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 203,200 - 274,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in analytics, risk management, or financial services with a track record of leading and growing analytics or data science teams.
•Deep expertise in portfolio risk modeling with hands-on IFRS 9 experience (PD, LGD, EAD, ECL staging) and strong command of ROA/ROE and yield management.
•Experience designing data-driven credit strategies (credit line management, loan underwriting) and familiarity with SaaS-based FinTech products such as payments and lending.
•Proven AI advocate with experience leading or accelerating adoption of machine learning or AI-powered decision systems in risk/finance context.
•Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R and modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Databricks) and ability to translate quantitative findings into strategic narratives.
